Greetings, visitor:)  This is Tian Jin 金天, a senior studying at NYU Shanghai, class of 2023. I am currently double majoring in Data Science (concentrating in Artificial Intelligence) and Interactive Media Arts.

I am fascinated by a variety of elements centering around human nature: self, mind, culture, computation, textual representation. I understand data science as an instrument for humans to pursue the relative certainty that facilitates perceptions of this uncertain world, therefore I exert analytical and algorithmic skills to gain insights from cross-disciplinary researches including Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Neuroscience, Corporate Finance, Media Studies.

Apart from that, I am also a person who appreciates visuals a lot. I enjoy photography since young, and further extend my interest in web-based programming and visual art during undergrad. In 2021, I collaborated with another classmate and set up our first multimedia art exhibition "Four AM", composed of four installations. Later when studying in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, I developed my own projects in graphic design and cinematography. In 2022, my photography work was awarded in Monochrome Photography Awards 2022 with
Honorable Mention.
